World History Association Speakers' Bureau

The World History Association is proud to announce the formation of a World History Speakers’ Bureau. The bureau has two purposes. First, the formation of a database of specialists is intended to aid universities, schools, and other interested organizations in easily locating potential guest speakers. The host agrees to pay for all of the speakers' expenses, plus offering a reasonable honorarium. Second, the speakers’ bureau will also serve as a fund-raising venture for the WHA. The speakers in the bureau have volunteered to donate the entirety of the honoraria they earn to the WHA. Utilizing the speakers’ bureau is a “win-win” situation for your institution or organization and the WHA. Please consider hosting one of the speakers at your school, university, or conference.

Contact the potential speakers below with questions regarding their availability, suitability of a topic, and so forth. For questions regarding speaker fees, honorarium or other financial matters, contact the WHA HQ at thewha@hawaii.edu.

If you are willing to serve as a speaker, and would like to be added to this page, contact one of the organizers of the speakers’ bureau below:

Craig Lockard, Co-coordinator, (2011-2013), lockardc@uwgb.edu
