Korea 2026 Sponsors and Exhibitors
The WHA's annual conference is made possible by the support of sponsors, affiliate organizations, and exhibitors who contribute to the event financially, through labor and resources, and through participation in our exhibition hall.
Sponsors
We are thrilled to have George Mason University Korea as a co-sponsor of our 2026 conference. In addition to providing conference space at the Incheon Global Campus and other resources, they will be sponsoring our closing reception and faculty from George Mason University Korea are contributing their time and expertise to conference planning.
OER Project: One of our key goals for our Korea 2026 conference is to increase accessibility to and interaction with World History pedagogy at all levels of education. To that end, we have two dedicated initiatives that we are able to implement this year thanks to a generous grant from the OER Project.
We are thrilled to offer free registration to the first forty K-12 teachers to this year’s conference. We look forward to seeing a strong representation of local educators at this year’s event. Given the limited funding for this initiative, those who register with this OER fellowship will be required to show a current teacher’s ID or equivalent.
Acknowledging the range of scholars without institutional funding for conference travel or who are otherwise unable to make it to Korea this year, the OER Project is funding a hybrid track of the conference with a focus on World History pedagogy. Online-only registration is available at a discounted rate of $125 for early registration for members ($174 regular or late). This registration will give you access to our conference App, online forums, and hybrid sessions.
Affiliates
We are working in affiliation with the Academy of Korean Studies to organize excursions in Korea before and after the conference dates as well as other experiences to increase Korean cultural exchange.
